Auckland's West Coast

Bethells Beach, West Coast, Auckland, New Zealand.

It was in this area that the TV series of Xena and Hercules were photographed. The family home of Lucy Lawless (Xena) is not far from this beach. The Waitakere Ranges run between Auckland and the West Coast and provided much of the bush and forest scenery for the TV series.
