South Island Odyssey - 3

Christchurch and beyond.

This group and related groups belonging to this South Island series were taken on a trip in the summer of 1963/64. Starting at the inter-island ferry terminal at Picton, travelling down the east coast to Dunedin, then back up through the centre of the island, returning to Picton.

The Canturbury Plains, Banks Penninsula beyond. Rakaia River, 1 mile wide at this point.
